Proficient in general computer (PC) skills Ability to analyse, manipulate and reconcile data in Microsoft Excel Ability to determine, solve or escalate problems with issue analysis Ability to manage own workload effectively Desire to learn and progress in this field Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products Excellent communication skills The role is client facing and candidates must be able to speak clearly and confidently to clients and system users, both over the phone and face to face
The candidate will have at least 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including maths and English Two or more A levels (or equivalent) including maths / ICT / Accounting / numerate subject/ a level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a similar subject
Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship standard, which includes:Functional skills in English, maths, and ICT (if applicable)Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
Be happy to work on your own or as part of a team, using your own initiative as appropriate An understanding of finance & accounting principles would be an advantage
Career Progression - Training and systems experience to progress to a Senior Analyst.
