Coding experience in any programming language. Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically. Ability to work independently and within a team framework. Effective communication and organizational skills, proactive, self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong problem solving capabilities. Willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions and seek help/advice where appropriate. Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
Qualification in one or more subjects in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics). You must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including maths and English Language. We also accept Level 2 Skills Tests as a GCSE equivalent in maths and English. Coding experience in any programming language. Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically. You don’t need to be studying business or technology A-levels, but you must have a keen interest in both.
Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
