Experience: Portfolio to demonstrate experience of data science to date - e.g. course work, personal projects Show an interest in data (e.g. knowledge of the variety of languages available, awareness. and basic understanding of data analysis) Behaviours: Passion, drive and high levels of enthusiasm for new challenges Self-motivation and a desire to succeed as part of a team A dedication to excel in a demanding and highly rewarding role
5 GCSEs at grades A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including maths and English. 3 A-levels at grades A-C including a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and maths) subjects or equivalent (NVQ/SVQ Level 3, or a BTEC National).
As well as on the job learning, the apprentices will also study towards their level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship standard. Covering modules such as:Data Analyst ToolsData Analyst Concepts
Someone with an enthusiastic and professional attitude and a commitment to learning new skills.
What success looks like: You will start on a 2-year fixed-term contract in the Academy, progressing to a permanent role in the Data, Insights and Statistics in year 3 subject to successful completion of your scheme. Year 1 to 2 Apprenticeship scheme – Starting at Band 3 circa. £17,787 Year 3 Permanent Role – Band 5 circa. £23,023
