Description

Main role:  You will be involved in developing new code, pages (based on ASP.NET, Azure Cloud, Salesforce) Work on database applications using MS SQL server Support the on-going development of their in-house web-based systems (Based on ASP.NET, Azure Cloud, Salesforce and MS SQL) They have two main systems, a customer management and billing application in the telecommunication industry and a cloud-based portal for the business energy market. You’ll get exposure to C#, VB.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, unit testing and source control technologies

Very good attention to detail  Strong interest in programming and/or web design and development   Good communication skills
The candidate will have at least 7 GCSE’s (C and above) including Maths and English with an enthusiasm for all things IT (or equivalent).
Training to be provided:knowledge module 1: software development context and methodologies (for level 3 software development technician)knowledge module 2: programming (for level 3 software development technician)Before taking their end-point assessment apprentices must:achieve level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C)Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.  Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
