Description

Main duties will include: Work with the operations team supporting the senior engineers  Testing customer equipment – VOIP handsets, routers, switches, WAPs, VoIP Conference units  Programming the equipment and fulfilling customer orders for due dates  Maintaining stock room - report stock level to the line manager, keep stock room tidy and organised  Dealing with faulty equipment and replacement for customers

Technical minded with a passion for IT Eager-to-learn new skills Team working
3 x GCSEs at grades A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in any subject and GCSEs at grades D/3 or above (or equivalent) in English and maths.
Level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship standard.Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
Someone with an enthusiastic and professional attitude and a commitment to learning new skills.
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.  Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
