A great opportunity for an apprentice Business Administrator to join our team. You will work primarily in the design office where organisation, planning and customer service skills will be imperative. Additionally, you will need to undertake overall business administration tasks within health and safety, HR and project management. The successful candidate must be well organised, a good communicator and have an interest in design. During your apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to understand design and the software associated with producing drawings.

Detailed Job Description

Working at the front end of the business and reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the running of the design office and supporting the administration in other business departments.

•Organising and filing of all documentation and drawings

•Managing the diary of yourself and 3 other staff

•Printing and preparation of plans for customer meetings

•Being the first point of contact in showroom

•Showroom organisation and cleanliness

•Helping with advertising and brand awareness via the website and events

•Updating the social media pages

•Liaising with customers to arrange appointments

•Generation and binding of working documents for departments

•Responsible for postal duties

•Sending time sheet hours to payroll

•Setting up starter documentation and passing to Induction coordinator

•Health and safety printing / laminating

•Organisation of marketing events

•Ensuring adequate supplies of stock for stationery, coffee etc.
