Surf Beach Bar have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Hospitality Supervisor to work in a fast paced bar/restaurant to supervise front and back of house. The position would suit a candidate who has had some hospitality experience and who has the initiative and passion to succeed.
You would be the right person for us if you are:

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.
Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 15 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.

We are looking for someone who has good communication skills, is hard working, a team player but can also complete tasks alone. The candidate will be able to keep calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
None required as full training will be given.
Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor

Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
Good standard of personal hygiene, passionate about food and beverage operations, working well within a small team, good time keeping and use of initiative.
After successful completion of the apprenticeship there are possible progression opportunities for further training for the right person.
