Overall Purpose of Job
To assist in the delivery of day to day processes and be part of cohesive and well balanced team within the PMA Client Accounting department.
Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:
• Daily communication and query resolution from internal and external stakeholders
• Bank Reconciliations and the clearance of reconciling items within a timely manner
• Other Reconciliations and trackers to include but not limited to funds received
• Full participation in the month end/year end close process
• Assisting with month end accounts posting journals (manual and via uploads), rolling forward monthly accounts pack
• Monitor shortfall listing on payment run days
• Raising head lease charges and ensuring sufficient funds are in place to make payments
• Facilitating adhoc rent and rates payments for all clients
• Assisting with quarterly audit process
• Adhering to RICS guidelines
• Any other duties relevant to the role

- Applicants should have five National 5s (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the AAT Level 3 qualification.
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
