The White Hart have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Kitchen Assistant
develop their skills whilst working in a fast paced kitchen alongside experienced chefs and the rest of the team in their daily roles. The position would suit a candidate who is interested to learn about the hospitality industry and could demonstrate a basic knowledge of food production with a view to developing from a basic to a more skilled area of food production. The successful candidate would need to commit to working a mixture of days, evenings and weekends. You will be required to work in all areas of the kitchen.
Your duties will include but will not be restricted to ;
•Food preparation
•Plating up food for customers
•Ensuring correct storage of food items
•Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and sanitised
•Adhering to outstanding food hygiene practises.
You will be enrolled on a L2 Hospitality qualification.
This will involve a monthly visit from a Regional Trainer to deliver training, coach you and observe you whilst you work , delivered to you be an award winning training provider!

Aside from the practical experience gained, you will also work towards a nationally recognised qualification. This is a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Food Processing & Cookery.
You must be reliable, able to handle pressure, calm and honest with a desire to succeed.
A permanent position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
