Description

Clayfields are looking for someone who is bright and can confidently use their own initiative. They work to a very high standard and you will be working directly with the owner to gain his valuable knowledge and experience.

They also breed 2/3 a year and have a few liveries.

This would ideally suit a Level 3 Apprentice – Please do not apply if you are a novice rider or beginner.

There is riding available for the right candidate, as well as the possibility of accommodation but ideally we would prefer someone local.

There is plenty of opportunity to travel and groom at competitions/HOYS etc.

This would be great opportunity for someone very keen and hardworking.

Lovely location and great facilities.

General duties to include;

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up
  • Feeding
  • Filling hay nets
  • Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
  • Bathing
  • Riding – dependent on candidate
  • First aid
  • Exercising horses
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Equine experience
