My head girl has worked for me for almost 20 years and together we run a competition and livery yard in South Cerney. We are looking forward to helping an apprentice learn from our experience

Description

General duties to include;

* Mucking out

* Turning out/bringing in

* Tack cleaning

* Tacking up

* Feeding

* Filling hay nets

* Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming

* Bathing

* Rug changing

* Schooling if able

* Riding

* First aid

* Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, Pessoa training etc.)

* Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Experience with looking after horses and grooming would be an advantage
Ability to complete Functional skills L1/L2
Full Apprenticeship training through Haddon Training

Accommodation and Livery for one horse is a possibility
