Description

We require a competent and dedicated horse person to join the team at Ridgeway Racing to complete their Level 2 Racehorse Care Apprenticeship.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills and a good amount equine knowledge, more specifically within the racing industry. They must complete tasks to a high standard in a timely manner whilst paying attention to detail. It is also crucial for applicants to be capable of working as part of a team.

As well as undertaking basic yard duties such as mucking out and grooming, the ability to ride to a good standard is essential as this role involves riding out up to 3 lots per day and there is a weight limit of 11st 7lbs. There may also be the opportunity to take horses racing.

Previous experience working would be beneficial and training will be given. Accommodation may be available if required.
