Detailed Job Description

This role is part of the Digital & Technology Solutions Professional Degree, where you’ll choose to go down a Software Engineer, Network Engineer or Data Analyst role. No matter your choice, you’ll develop and deliver scientific, software or engineering solutions to the UK’s defence. And as you hone your cyber skills, you’ll also work towards a degree in digital and technology solutions.

You’ll then apply this knowledge to lab-based research, university assignments, practical technology projects or military systems evaluation. With the support of your team, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the issues facing our forces and the wider security landscape.

This passion will be supported by three A-Levels (or equivalent), including maths, science, technology or engineering.

Skills required

Personal Qualities

Logical and systematic, you’ll have a natural flair for technology. It means you’ll quickly get to grips with new bits of tech and understand how they work. Plus, you’ll be confident in a demanding environment and be comfortable adapting to change.
