Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]:   Work alongside the IT Systems & Project Manager on upcoming projects, telephony & networking infrastructure  Assist the IT Systems & Project Manager with day-to-day support tasks Helping to maintain documentation including user manuals, contract information, reported issues and licensing documentation Setup and installation of Windows/Apple hardware and applications Gain sound understanding of Microsoft Office problems (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Communicating with third-party contractors – Fire and Security, Hardware disposal, Suppliers, Consultants Adding new users to the system and creating e-mail accounts To answer calls/e-mails and provide direct support to users Prioritising issues and problems to resolve in a timely manner Troubleshooting and configuring laptops, desktops, printers, smart phones and tablet devices Participate in meetings

Interested applicants should have at least 5 GCSE's (C and above) including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Infrastructure technician level 3 standard Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
Someone with an enthusiastic and professional attitude and a commitment to learning new skills.
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.  Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
