Junior Administrator

We are looking for an apprentice to support the day to day business needs of our company in terms of general administrative support. The role will also include customer service in the form of call handling and reception duties.

Detailed Job Description

Duties inlude -

  • Dealing with telephone calls from third parties, accurately taking and entering customer details as well as redirecting calls as appropriate
  • Word processing, data input, setting up spreadsheets and other IT systems
  • Undertake administrative assistance and support duties within the team, including: Word processing, photocopying, printing, receiving and directing visitors
  • Act as a central point of contact for customers, visitors and employees
  • To actively and positively promote Pluss, its vision and values at all times
  • Uphold and comply with Data Protection and confidentiality standards

Qualifications required

  • GCSE A-C (Level 4-9) in English and Maths (desirable)

Skills required

  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Confident phone manner
  • Computer skills
  • Desirable
  • Good initiative and being able to think on their feet

On completion of the 12 month apprenticeship program, depending on performance, you may be offered a full time role at Pluss.

Additional Information

Training provided

  • Business Administrator, or if preferred you can do a Customer Service apprenticeship instead.

You will be expected to uphold, safeguard and promote the organisations values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, integrity, corporate, social responsibility, equal opportunities and diversity as referenced in the company policy and values standards. And you will be responsibile for refering to the line manager or senior manager any issues of concern in relation to Safeguarding adults and children.
