Description
An excellent opportunity is available to work and train as a Warehousing Apprentice. This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to work in the Logistics industry. You will learn many skills such as:
- Health and Safety awareness
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
- Picking and packing sold products
- Maintain the safety and quality of goods
- Move goods in logistics facilities
- Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations
- Place goods in storage
College attendance is not required for this apprenticeship as full training is delivered within the workplace with support from Blackpool & The Fylde College.
Please note that the wages (hourly rate) for this apprenticeship is commensurate with age (National Minimum Wage).

4 GCSE's at grades A* - D (9-4) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
You must achieve a score of at least Entry Level 3 on the college based initial assessments in English, Maths and IT.
You will work towards completing the Level 2 Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage.
All training will be delivered in the workplace.
Functional Skills in English and Maths may have to be completed (subject to previous GCSE qualifications (or equivalent).

It is the intention of the employer to retain the apprentice when fully trained.
