PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE STILL ACTIVELY RECRUITING DURING COVID-19 BUT WE CANNOT HOLD INTERVIEWS/TRIALS UNTIL LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED

All general yard duties apply and lots of riding for the right person. We have fantastic opportunities for an apprentice with lots of clinics being run from the yard and a qualified instructor on site.

General duties to include;

•Mucking out

•Turning out/bringing in

•Tack cleaning

•Tacking up

•Feeding

•Filling hay nets

•Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming

•Bathing

•Rug changing

•Schooling

•Riding

•First aid

•Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)

•Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Some experience with horses would be beneficial
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training supported by Haddon Training
Must be hard-working, keen to learn and listen to direction, enthusiastic and fun
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship on successful completion of Level 2
