Vacancy Description Main role / Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:  Provide support for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 Configure, install & support PC's, laptops & printers/MFP's Provide support for MS Office 2010, 2013, 2017 and O365 - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Skype for Business Provide support for McAfee anti-virus, anti-spam, device control, encryption Install bespoke software systems Provide support for PABX including handsets Change backup media & store appropriately Administer software & hardware audit as/when requested Create documentation as/when requested and for any changes/additions to the IT systems Provide support on Apple Macs Setup mobile devices (iPhone's iPads, Android) Provide Windows Active Directory/Exchange 2013 administration e.g. create user/mailbox accounts Work to a rota set by your head of department, which is in accordance to the demands of the business Understand and be aware of your Departmental Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to these at all times Attend meetings, appraisals, and training as required Adhere to health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures, GDPR and PCI Do any other reasonable tasks allocated by the IT Manager/Network Support Analyst

Experience with the MS Office suite General IT skills with a good understanding of IT  A keen interest in Technology Good written and oral communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills A can-do attitude to learn and support  Ability to absorb and retain information quickly Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C/9-4 in any subject, plus GCSE English and maths (or equivalents) at grade D/3 or above
Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks
