We use many different technologies; Microsoft .Net c#, PHP, JavaScript and Python, aiming to choose the best technology for each project. As we’re a small team you will get involved in the full client journey, from discovery, right through to implementation on new projects.

Description

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Work on new and existing client projects, across the full tech stack (Front end and Back end programming).
  • Help support the hosting infrastructure fixing any problems.
  • Assist clients with any issues that they may have.

Other Responsibilities/Duties

  • Keep documentation up to date and maintain existing documentation where needed.
  • Administrative tasks including but not limited to issues surrounding data security, database maintenance and data mining.
  • Research new technologies and how they could improve the developer and user experience.

  • This role reports to the Founder & Head of technology.

  • Good standard of html / css and basic javascript.
  • Experience in a server-side programming language .
  • Knowledge of version control (git etc).

  • GCSE – (A to C or equivalent in Maths, English and Science)

Programme Content:

Taught Sessions at College (1 day a week):

You will be given the opportunity to gain the following industry recognised professional qualifications:

  • BCS Systems Software Development Methodologies
  • At least one other software development qualification

Work-based Learning:

Within the workplace you will be given the opportunity to develop a portfolio of work demonstrating and evidencing your development of skills, knowledge and competence.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a future job role.
The working days are Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm. Quarterly performance review together with an annual salary review. May need to visit the London office on occasions.
