Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Sodexo in Stevenage to work alongside a small team and be trained to support front of house activities

• Reception – meeting and greeting visitors, taking phone calls

• Meeting room management – ensuring meeting rooms are maintained to a high standard, that bookings are made for the most suitable rooms

• Hospitality – providing meeting room refreshments and organising external caterers for events To be cross trained on other FM activities such as

• Cleaning – learning the science behind cleaning

• Distribution & logistics – supporting the scientific teams in ordering consumables, arranging couriers etc

This role is an ideal introduction into Facilities Management.

The site is very keen to invest time and share experience in an apprentice who will have many opportunities to further their career within Sodexo Based at a Science Park within the grounds of a major Pharmaceutical Company

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Customer Service Qualification, this will involve a Regional Trainer who will visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training, coach you, as well as observing you whilst you work

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
