Description
Tinytots Vision Ltd provides affordable childcare within the Broughton and Langworthy area of Salford. They currently run various Ofsted approved childcare settings including a 51 place community nursery, a 20 place nursery, two playgroups, crèches and family activities in the school holidays.

The role involves maybe working within the different sites, and looking after children aged 0- 5years old. You will be required to help supervise the children's play, learning activities and meal times. You will be working as part of a small team. The role requires caring for all children's care needs, assisting with cleaning duties and preparing snacks. We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with very young children and willing to learn all job duties and train to gain childcare qualifications .
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Early Years Care Qualification, this will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development alongside your mentor throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Good Communication skills, can use own initiative, willing to learn, willing to care for all children's care needs and assist with cleaning duties/preparing snacks. Must Be willing to take direction from supervisor of the childcare room.
Maths and English GCSE's A*-C are not essential but site would prefer you to hold these, if you have an NVQ level 2 there is possibility of progressing onto a level 3 Early Years.
Level 2 Childrens and Young Person's Workforce
Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.
You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.
You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.

This vacancy is for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment within Tiny Tots Nursery upon the completion of the apprenticeship programme. If you have a Level 2 Child Care qualification you could progress to L3 Diploma in Early Years Educator.
