There is a wealth of support available. In addition to the dedicated Next Generation Talent Team who are there to guide you every step of the way, you will be matched with an existing apprentice within the business as a Buddy.
Your Buddy will make contact with you even before you start and will pass on any tips and tricks that they have learnt during their apprenticeship experience. Your Dedicated line Manager will also make contact with you before you start to make arrangements for a visit and meet your team before your start.

And Mentor
Your line manager will be with you day to day and will also hold monthly 1:1s with you to check in on how you are progressing, provide feedback, and make sure that you are supported yet stretched in your role. To offer a wider business perspective you will also be matched to a Mentor who you can connect with to discuss your wider career aspirations and use to build your network outside of your direct team.
Your Training
Provider

From your training provider you will also be assigned a personal talent coach who will meet with you on a regular basis to carry out reviews and make sure that you are progressing along your qualification as panned and give you any additional support you may require in terms of content or guidance.

Application
Once you have decided which programme to apply for you will need to complete an online application. You'll be asked to enter personal details, together with qualifications and work experience. You will also be asked specific questions relating to the minimum criteria for the programme so please ensure you meet these before applying. You will need to provide proof of these at a later stage so please answer honestly.

Job Simulation
If you pass the DHL Strengths Journey, you will then be invited to complete a Job Simulation. This is an opportunity for you to understand more about the role and the business, as well as an opportunity for us to learn about you. Experience Day
Following the job simulation, if you are successful, the final stage of the process is the Experience Day. Preparation is key, but it is also important that you are yourself and show us who you really are! We will provide you in advance with the details of what to expect on this day.

Supply Chain Leader or Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship
If you are looking to earn a degree whilst developing skills within a global market leading supply chain organisation, this is the programme for you! Our Supply Chain Leadership Professional Degree Apprenticeship has been designed to grow our Supply Chain Leaders of the future and provides experience across both warehousing and transport roles during the 4 year programme. The programme will support you to successfully manage people, projects, operations and services, and we will be looking to you to become DHL's Site Leaders of the future.
The Chartered Manager Degree is an overarching Leadership degree, giving you the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to be a professional leader in our Organisation. You will gain valuable experience across many different areas of the operations, initially shadowing our subject matter experts, which will lead you to have real responsibility in your operational area. The 4 year programme will support you to successfully manage people, projects, operations ,services and many more areas.

Inventory Manager Level 3 ( Supply Chain practitioner Apprenticeship)
Inventory control is at the heart of what we do. If you have a passion for ensuring deadlines for our Customers are met, ensuring stock is held in the correct conditions and kept in perfect condition. Do you like to manage data, ensure that rotation of goods is kept to process and ultimately want to be part of a team that ensure that all customers get goods as and when required, then inventory Management is for you. Using the latest system and processes you will have real responsibility from Day 1 and this will be enhanced by completing your Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3.
If you are looking to earn a degree whilst developing skills within a global market leading supply chain organisation, this is the programme for you! This programme has been designed to ensure that we grow our own subject matter experts in the Customs areas. You will learn by the end of the programme you will be the experts in understanding how to move freight between territories, gaining valuable customer Services skills as you will be dealing with many different countries. Understanding how to complete relevant documents and declaration, whilst ensuring all process have been completed to ensure legal compliance.
