An understanding of surgery role within the community would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone
Good team skills and capable of working independently

GCSE (or equivalent) in maths/English (9 - 4/A* - C) grades

Due to nature of role any potential apprentice must respect all aspects of business and client confidentiality at all times and respect all visitors to the surgery.
Part of the qualification will require regular College attendance (currently one full day every month, but supported with regular zoom/online training). College is based at Marsh Mills, Plymouth.
Possibility of future employment/progression opportunities on successful completion of Level 2 qualification.
Budshead Medical Centre is a busy GP practice covering an area in the north of Plymouth. We have around 7600 patients across the area and have a full team of medical staff including doctors, nurses and attached staff as well as a full admin team to support the services offered.
