This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as an apprentice.
To deliver a consistent high-quality IT Service Desk support service for our colleagues at Help for Heroes. This is a junior position within the Charity, and as such, learning and development are integral to this role, so we hope you are kind and keen.

The role involves / would be highly beneficial to have experience with:
Managing multiple requests at the same time whilst keeping a level head and maintaining high standards of customer service
Working with external suppliers and vendors to achieve timely resolutions to incidents and requests where services are support and/or hosted by 3rd parties
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
Minimum 1 years’ experience IT Service Desk
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365
Knowledge of supporting, installing standard Microsoft Office
Experience of Microsoft Outlook and MS-Exchange
Some knowledge of PC related hardware with excellent PC and laptop troubleshooting skills
Some knowledge of Active Directory administration, setting up users, resetting passwords, working with organisational units, etc.
Experience using service desk call logging systems
Ability to work to standard documented processes and procedures
The ability to prioritise and escalate
You need to have 5 GCSEs:
maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D/3 or above
3x GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 in any other subject
You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.
