We are looking for candidates who are willing to work towards the Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification, and who are also willing to undertake any additional training and qualifications that are necessary & relevant to the role. Full training will be give, but we do require candidates to have certain qualities and skills in order to support our service users: Experience and/or understanding and awareness of working in a recovery focused way, empowering, motivating and supporting people with complex needs Training in Mental Health, substance misuse, complex needs and/or challenging behaviour is desirable, but not essential Good IT skills
This is a training position so willingness to learn is required.
Conscientious, with good attention to detail – the role requires written reports, and completion of important documentation Ability to undertake personal care tasks whilst maintaining and ensuring clients privacy & dignity Able to lone work and manage a crisis Ability to communicate in a helpful, empathic, positive and friendly manner Able to build professional and effective relationships Able to work under their own initiative , as well as part of a team Able to motivate others  Able to manage own time effectively
