Fast forward to the modern age and the Brindley Garages group continues to flourish, with Robin now as Brindley’s chairman, and stepson Che Watson carrying on the family tradition in the position of Managing Director, alongside a vast network of friendly and talented staff.
Brindley Garages now consists of 13 dealerships spread across Cannock, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton and Tipton, representing major brands Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Vauxhall and Volvo. We’re also proud to be the major Motability supplier for the Midlands, with over 4000 customers enjoying the use of a Motability car from us. In addition, we supply businesses across the area with cars, and are also a popular choice for servicing and repair work.
We’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings; but the same family values continue to prevail in the major multi-franchise dealer group you see today – motoring passion and the willingness to go the extra mile for all our customers.
"It's that personal touch that is beyond price," says Robin. "The fact is that with our unrivalled expertise and knowledge of both the products we sell and the customers we serve, we can go a long way towards ensuring that each is well suited to the other. Our focus has traditionally been not just on how many cars we can sell but on how many customers we can please".
With an ethos tailored to please customers, not just to sell cars, over 12,000 new and used vehicles are sold to private and fleet clients a year, and with a loyal staff of over 300 working as a cohesive team - 20 have been with the company for as long as a quarter of a century - a turnover of £150 million has been reached."
