People skills are a must with patience and adaptable tolerance levels.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible in their attitude, and wholesome in their approach.
Some previous experience of SEND would be an advantage.
You MUST want to come and play and you must want to be outside in all weathers.
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English is essential.
Able to use own initiative
Sense of humour
This is not a term-time only position so you must be willing to work during normal school holidays.
There may be occasional Community Events which will be held outside our normal operational hours.
Due to the nature of the role, no two days will be the same.
We work in various rural locations so own transport is essential.
We would love for you to stay with us and become a member of our team upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Our regular sessions include Alternative Provision, Home Ed. Saturday and After School Clubs and Parent and U5 sessions. We also organise camps, microadventures and events in our communities. We think that using local community wild spaces often has better outcomes so we are nomadic and work in the heart of our communities.
Our favourite five:
Adventures-even tiny ones
Wild Cooking, eating and sharing
Creativity, making and building
Learning and education through experience, play and discovery
Community and inclusivity We are engaged in active research and into accessibility and inclusivity in the outdoors which feeds directly into our practice and ethos.
