Description of Opportunity
This is an apprentice role on a small farm helping with calf rearing, general farm work and relief milking. You will work towards a Level 2 Stockperson apprenticeship standard.

You will require your own transport as we are in a rural location with no access to public transport.
The role will involve working outdoors, in all weathers. You can be on your feet for long periods and the job will involve physical work and lifting.

We are a small friendly family run farm which has a small dairy herd (25 cows) which uses the milk to produce Ice Cream and contract calf rear approximately 650 calves per year.
