Our nursery is in a quiet, residential area. Our staff, most of whom have achieved a foundation degree, offer a warm welcome to all children, whatever additional needs they might have.
There is a specially designed room for each age group: 0-2 years old, 2-3 years old and 3-5 years old. There’s also a sensory room, while our pre-schoolers have an extra room that can be used for those who still sleep, for group work or one-to-ones with children with additional needs.
Outside, there’s a large playground with sandpit, climbing tunnel, even a treehouse with a slide. Beyond that is a woodland walk complete with a viewing station.
Our children love to go out on trips to the park, the library or fire station. We are very much a part of our local community. Everyone knows about our fetes and fun days, which are great fun – and raise funds for our favourite charities.
We share our site with a children’s centre, where parents can get expert support and advice from a whole range of professionals – from midwives to speech and language therapists.
