Bicton College Equestrian Centre are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join them as an Apprentice. The successful individual will receive full training from the team, as well as access to Bicton's clinics and shows.

Able to work as part of a team or alone as appropriate
Good verbal communication skills
GCSE grades C/4 and above for English and maths to meet course entry requirement.
NVQ level 1, Pony Club or BHS qualifications preferred, but not essential.
Be able to cope with the physical demands of the role
Be confident with large animals
A genuine interest in horses and their welfare
Ability to use own initiative
Own transport is helpful due to public transport not running on weekends.
Salary will be £166.50 per week (£4.50 per hour).

Additional training towards the British Horse Society exams will be available.
Future prospects to be discussed on completion of Level 2. An option may be to continue on and study level 3.
