Must have a good standard of general education
The ability to produce clear, legible, written records
Good communication skills
Some experience of working with children, on work placement, in voluntary capacity, babysitting, caring for family etc.
GCSE or equivalents in maths – grade C/4 or above
GCSE or equivalents in English – grade C/4 or above
Must have the ability to work in a team and support colleagues in all roles
Highly motivated and eager to learn and develop new skills
Friendly and confident to talk with children, parents, colleagues and professionals from other disciplines
Must have a positive attitude and be aware of the need to always be a good role model
Need to be enthusiastic, willing to get down to a child’s level and make all learning fun
