Good communication skills
Good English skills, both written and verbal
Basic knowledge of cars
A driving licence is preferred but not essential
You will require a minimum of GCSE or equivalent Grade 2/3 (D/E) in both English and maths to be accepted onto the programme. You will be fully supported through the programme to complete your functional skills exams.
Dedicated and committed to own learning and development
Passion for the auto sector
You will need to ensure you can get to and from work on a daily basis as well as getting to Paragon's Academy in Bournemouth for your block release training every 6 weeks.
Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be the possibility for full time employment with the garage. You may also have the opportunity to further enhance your industry knowledge by studying hybrid vehicles and air conditioning qualifications.
