Strong IT skills Strong problem-solving skills Good communicaton skills, able to talk to both technical and non-technical individuals Good written and spoken English Desirable: Experience working with Windows Server 2012 R2 or above Experience with Microsoft Azure Experience with IIS and web applications Experience with SQL Server Experience with SQL Experience in a customer facing role
Minimum of GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
Professional Able to work off their own initiative Personable Committment to find solutions and improve existing systems/processes
Future expectations for this role are the ability to work shifts depending on business requirements, potentially to cover a 24 hour availability, and an expectation to join the on-call rota (to be available 24/7 for significant issues for a week at a time, a bonus payment is made for this service.)
There may be scope to progress to a 2nd or 3rd line technician. For the right employee there could also be scope to move into other business units, development, testing, professional services, marketing, sales, cyber security, infrastructure support.
