Good communication skills
Good English skills, both written and verbal
Basic knowledge of mechanics is preferred
Able to work off initiative
You will require a minimum of GCSE or equivalent Grade 2/3 (D/E) in both English and maths to be accepted onto the programme. You will be fully supported through the programme to complete your functional skills exams.

Independent and reliable own transport is preferred so that successful candidate can get to and from college and work, however there are local bus stops nearby.
Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be the possibility for full-time employment with the business.
We provide independent commercial garage services, including HGV and PCV maintenance, diagnosis, and repair from our commercial vehicle workshop in Poole, Dorset.
