Description of Opportunity
As a machine operator you will be trained on some of the most advanced machinery in the woodworking industry. You will follow the process from cutting, to edge banding through to drilling, gaining a multitude of experience on a variety of machinery.

Past experience in manufacturing processes
Understanding of computer software
Good attention to detail
Exceptional attendance and timekeeping
3 GCSE's at Level 3 must include English and Maths
IT Qualification Desirable
Keen to progress and succeed
Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual
Strong understanding and adherence to Health and Safety processes and procedures.
Adaptable, willing to change priorities and working requirements
Sometimes a physically demanding role
Need to be able to travel to and from the site (consideration of public transport etc needs to be taken)
Must be over 18 years of age
Starting from £15,000 pa in your first year you will have the opportunity of full time employment with the potential to earn between £23,000 - £25,000 on successful completion
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
