General yard duties include;

  • Mucking out
  • Feeding
  • Turning out and bringing in
  • Clipping
  • Grooming
  • Bathing
  • Possibility to help at events

Weekly working hours will be typically 37.5. This will also include one day over the weekend

Experience with horses is essential. Please note that applicants with no experience will not be considered for this vacancy.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English

Full training provided through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training

Successful candidate will be;

  • Keen to progress within the equine industry
  • Hard working with a positive attitude
  • Willing to work outside in all weather
Possibility of Level 3 Horse Care Apprenticeship on completion of Level 2
Working hours 7.30am - 4pm
