The apprentice will work in the Administration team, with exposure to other areas of the business in order to experience a wide range of activities and situations. Description of Opportunity

HTFT Partnership have a Business Administrator Apprentice vacancy at their head office in Shirley, Solihull.

The successful candidate will provide full administrative support to our small but busy team.

This is a new position created within the growing business and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and focused administrator to make this role their own.

Full training will be provided by an external training provider to support the successful candidate gain an appropriate Apprenticeship Standard.

The role will include the following key duties:

Managing incoming communication – phone and e-mail

Creating new documents to company branding

Saving, storing, filing and archiving all company related documents in new system

Working with team to pull together all resources for editing, formatting, saving etc

Managing queries on the ‘student community’ and website chat

Sending out enrolment forms and prices to students/clients

Allocating and resetting tests

Creating bespoke timetables across the range of available courses

Project work involving document productio

Data entry

Maintenance of Excel Workbooks

Diary maintenance

It is essential that the successful candidate has the following skills:

A desire to work in a finance role in a flexible and ofrward thinking business

Good, professional, team player and flexible attitude towards work priorities and demands

Good GCSEs or equivalent results in appropriate qualifications e.g. Business, Maths, Economics

Excellent client skills, able to liaise professionally via the telephone, letter and e-mail

Proficient on Outlook, Word and Excel

Ability to work without supervision and to work to deadlines

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and understanding:

Minimum of 5 GCSE passes to include GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics.

An understanding of the basic principles of finance and / or business

Training will be provided to support the apprentice to gain an appropriate Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Additional training will be provided on our internal systems, marketing and database management.

It is essential that the successful candidate has the following qualities:

Experience of using MS Office applications effectively (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).

It is also desirable that the successful candidate will have the following qualities:

Experience of working in a customer focused environment.

Experience of using a range of communication methods.

Experience of using MS Office applications effectively (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Experience of working in a team and independently to deliver against strict timescales.

The finance apprentice role is a 15 month fixed term contract.

HTFT Partnership are keen to invest in the successful apprentice, and this includes looking to progress the business administrator apprentice (upon completion of the apprenticeship) onto higher and more demanding training and roles.
