Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a highly professional and efficient team working to the highest standard. You will positively contribute to the success of the team, by sharing best practice and adopting a helpful approach towards colleagues.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Interact with customers in a professional, friendly and confident manner
- To follow Lympstone Manor Standards & Order of Service at all times
- All complaints to be referred up the line
- To proactively communicate to colleagues and line managers incorporating customer feedback and new ideas for continuous improvement of customer service
- To assist in the training and development of fellow team members through coaching and sharing of skills
- To undertake additional responsibility as requested which may involve working in other areas of the business
- To take responsibility for self-development, learning new skills which will enhance your ability within Lympstone Manor
- To discuss and agree performance objectives with your line manager, contributing to personal and business success
- To comply with all statutory and legal requirements, working in accordance with these regulations
- To prepare service stations, stillroom and all work areas following the “pre-service” checklist ready for service
- To act as final check on the quality & presentation of all items before they are served to the customer
- To assist your colleagues, whenever and wherever possible, promoting excellent teamwork and exceeding customer expectations
- To clean and prepare service stations, stillroom and all work areas after service following the “after-service” check list
- To complete daily cleaning duties following the cleaning rota
- To adhere to house rules
- The job may also include other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
As this is an Apprenticeship, you will also attend Exeter College one day a week, learning all aspects of a Hospitality Team Member role. This will include the following topics:
-Customer
-Team leading/first line supervision
-People
-Business

Applicants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade A-C/9-4 including maths and English or equivalents.
Learners will work towards:
- Certification of Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Standard Level 2
- Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths (where applicable)
