Description

BHSII event rider and instructor on site specialised in producing event horses

As an apprentice you’ll join our team looking after a variety of horses and helping with the daily run of the yard including going to shows and events assisting with vets, farriers and other professional.

Yard duties will include:

Mucking out

•Turning out/bringing in

•Tack cleaning

•Tacking up

•Feeding

•Filling hay nets

•Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming

•Bathing

•Rug changing

•Schooling

•Riding

•First aid

•Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)

•Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Experienced horse rider that has high standards and enjoys working in a team
Ability to completeL1/L2 functional skills
All apprenticeship training through Haddon Training

Opportunity to take your own horse at £50 per week
