Description of Opportunity

Supporting our HR function at our Head Office in Ringwood, this HR apprenticeship is an interesting role that offers a lot of variety. We have 4 schools in London and have regular recruitment and training projects. The apprenticeship will include: Place all adverts for job vacancies at the schools with the relevant media (e.g. TES, Thomas’s Website, etc.), in liaison with the HR Manager Assist in relation to ensuring all appropriate personnel documentation is in place for all newly recruited members of staff, using the new starter checklist Support in the operation and maintenance of the computerised HR database to ensure the availability of information and timely production of report Support the HR department in ensuring timely receipt and processing of staff absence documentation Updating the school's management information system with new employees and updating staff details as required Ensuring documents are held securely in line with GDPR, including archiving / scanning documents and recording details Assist in the organisation of training within the schools; including the maintenance of the schools training logs and the EduCare training system Support and assist in personnel projects, as required

Good communication skills, written and verbal Working knowledge of MS Office and accurate keyboard skills Problem solving skills
5 GCSE Grades C/4 and above, including English and maths; and/or A Levels and/or relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship or equivalent. Suitable workplace experience in an HR environment is useful but not essential.
