Description of Opportunity

The Apprentice Sales Coordinator is a role designed to allow first time employees from education to move into a live commercial environment to increase their skills and knowledge. The role sits within our Retail Support teams and exposes the role holder in to both internal company practices and our broad customer base. Tasks of the Apprentice and areas of learning: Processing and amending customer orders Logging activity and tasks on to the CRM and other internal platforms Arranging and dispatching samples Online comp shops / product ranges and retail online reviews.  Generic admin tasks for the sales team Skills you will learn and develop: A desire to learn and develop exceptional Sales Administration skills Support of both a field and an office-based sales team Telephone call handling  Active listening Data management through the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system Dealing with varied customers Communication and presentation skills Prioritisation & time management skills Solution selling – a formal approach to sales and marketing Additional duties: From time to time the company may require the Apprentice Sales Coordinator to perform duties outside of this specific remit. Any additional duties will be agreed and in line with the Vision Support Services business needs and model and the capability of the individual in role.

Good communication skills – both verbal and written Good time-keeping skills Good IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
3 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including maths and English. Or; Prior experience in business or administration role (or equivalent).
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)End-Point Assessment (EPA)Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team Be respectful to team members at all times Be able to use their own initiative A positive individual to lead and grow with our organisation With exposure to direct clients the individual needs to be able to develop a confidence when dealing with people
