Description of Opportunity

You will receive training in assisting the Design Department in a more technical administrative role. Primary duties will include, although not limited to: Document Control - Responsible for the vital upkeep and circulation of drawings/design information to construction sites and clients Handover - Responsible for the preparation of information and certification in readiness for the completion of housing schemes and on site assistance on the day of handover Design Coordination - Assistance with the review and coordination of drawings/technical information, preparation of design related applications/registrations and monitoring their progress Utilising a variety of programmes such as: Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to the post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. Other than the requirement of some college attendance, some of which can be undertaken remotely, to support the end point assessment process the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard training programme is primarily delivered in the workplace.

To be considered for this post applicants must have, as a minimum, 4 GCSE’s: with English and mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or the equivalent) and two other subjects at grade D/3 or above (or the equivalent). As part of the pre-employment check process, proof of qualifications will be required.
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
You will possess an outgoing personality coupled with a common sense approach. You will be a good team player who is: Well groomed Friendly Enthusiastic Approachable Hardworking Honest Reliable and punctual Above all you will possess a keen willingness to learn and have a strong work ethic
It is intended that - providing you successfully complete your apprenticeship - you will become a permanent member of staff. Upon completion of apprenticeship, you may undertake additional part-time education.
