Description of Opportunity
Hamiltons is a privately owned restaurant serving modern cuisine. On our site we have a cocktail bar, which serves our lunch & bar menu all day, and a 50-seater restaurant which serves our a la carte menu from 6pm. We also have a function room upstairs which we use for larger sit-down group bookings. Our service style is relaxed yet professional with all staff expected to maintain our high standards of customer service. You will be expected to learn all aspects of service and assist as part of our team in delivering consistently high quality in everything we do. We are able to train candidates in barista skills, wine knowledge & service, beer knowledge & service (including cellar training), food service & customer service amongst other areas required.

Prior knowledge of hospitality will be very useful for you. A keen interest in service and customer interaction are vital to success in the role.
Level 4/C in GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship
All applicants should be serious about a career in hospitality. Good time keeping and a positive mental attitude towards work as well as good interpersonal skills will be key to a good candidate.
At the end of your apprenticeship, we aim to produce a hospitality team member with experience in all aspects of front-of-house work including customer interaction, event catering, bar work, wine & cocktail preparation/ service, customer interaction and much more.
Restaurants and bars are often highly pressured, results-based environments. A strong mental attitude is required to stand the difficulties of handling face to face interactions with customers in this pressured setting. Please only apply if you are willing to put everything into your apprenticeship.
