Duties to include: Food prep, assisting the kitchen team, having a section to look after on shift, being shown correctly to clean down the section of the kitchen to EHO standards, attending college one day a week. Working to achieve NVQ qualification in catering.

Apprentices will be working towards achievement of the following:• Certification of Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard• Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths (where applicable)

Once completed the NVQ 2 there may be an opportunity to work towards level 3. Also to become a chef at The Passage House Inn.
