Description of Opportunity
Your job will include all aspects of kitchen work. You will be expected to work as one of the team. Harry’s is predominantly steak led so a love of meat would be an advantage, there will be an opportunity to work in other areas of the kitchen such as desserts.
You will be expected to participate in the preparation of dishes, take in deliveries and keep the kitchen clean. You will need to have a basic food hygiene skills and knife skills.

Basic knife skills are an advantage.
Learners ideally need to have Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the entry criteria, you will still be considered but will have to complete functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
Apprentices will be working towards achievement of the following:
Certification of Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard
Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths (where applicable)
You must be friendly, approachable, well mannered and passionate about food and cooking it!
After the successful completion of the Intermediate Apprenticeship you may consider progressing onto the Advanced Apprenticeship. There may also be an opportunity to become a permanent member of staff on completion of the Apprenticeship.
