Description of Opportunity

Maintenance Team Member: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager they will be working as part of team maintaining the hotel. They will be provided with a weekly list of tasks

Duties will include:

· Support weekly fire alarm test procedures and report any faults to the maintenance manager

· Prepare areas for redecoration

· Ensure all areas are clean and tidy

· Complete any requests reported by housekeeping

· Ensure all equipment is cleaned after use and stored correctly

After 6-month placement the young person will be competent in:

· Understanding safe working methods and use of supplied protective equipment,

· Able to comply with all statutory and company regulations, relating to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Fire Regulations, fire and emergency procedures, security of premises and property.

· Knowledge, understanding and able to comply with COSHH risk assessments

To be eligible for a Kickstart role you must:

-Be aged between 16 and 24

-Be in receipt of Universal Credit

There will be a requirement to attend regular 1-2-1 sessions with your line manager to support and develop your knowledge and understanding of your role and responsibilities.
