Description of Opportunity

We are looking for apprentice carers to join our experienced day team. We are looking for carers who ideally have a passion to work in care and with patients who suffer from a wide variety of nursing needs.

A comprehensive professional person is required with a strong patient focus. An extensive training programme will be provided to you, including on the job training, e- learning, care certificate and access to the college assessment team.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting elderly patients undergoing healthcare activities
  • Support the elderly to meet their personal needs
  • Provide support to manage pain and discomfort
  • Suport care plan activities
  • Support individuals with multiple care and medical needs
  • Promoting health, safety and wellbeing of patients
