Description
As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you
will assist the customer automation team in all aspects of maintaining and
providing Digital Automation services to clients including support, and for
general enquiries. The successful candidate will have a passion for technology
and will be eager to develop their career in the IT sector.
KEY DUTIES:
- Assist in customer deployments
using Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI
- Working with the team to build
reporting solutions in Microsoft Power BI stack
- Effective data analysis skills
- Database modelling
- Working with databases and
writing complex queries
- Working in SQL, DAX, MDX, Power
Query and Azure SQL Server
- installation of updates and
service packs on customer environments whilst assessing business impact and
risks associated with carrying out such work.
- Deployment of a range of core
Microsoft products for example O365
- Providing support via the phone
to help resolve problems
- Deal with logging problems,
escalating to 2nd and 3rd line where needed
- General office duties
The Company are offering remote working for the right candidate with occasional attendance required at their offices in central Exeter. Your learning and development will be supported remotely and it is therefore important that you are self-motivated and proactive. You will attend weekly lectures at Exeter College with the opportunity to network and problem-solve with other students on the course.

- Self-discipline and the ability to work independently - you will work remotely and will be asked to attend the office in central Exeter for team meetings.
Essential:- Maths and English GCSEs at grades 5-9 (A-B), or equivalent.
Desirable:
- Level 3 qualification in Maths, Statistics, IT, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
Training will be provided in the workplace with the support of an experienced team. In addition to this, you will attend Exeter College one day per week to work towards achievement of the following:
- BCS Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship
- BCS Data Tools Qualification
Membership to the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT) is included.
This apprenticeship is recognised for entry onto the register of IT Technicians confirming ISFA professional competency.
