Description
The position of HGV Technician involves:
? To train in all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair while working as an
Apprentice.
? You will start of on your Level 2 Apprenticeship, and then continue to develop your skills over
the duration of the Apprenticeship which will last for at least four years, making you a fully
qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician.
? Gregory Distribution maintains their own fleet of vehicles and you will be working alongside
our experienced Technicians.
? You will gain knowledge of the vehicle systems including, engine, chassis and electrical
systems.
? Gain the understanding and the practical skills required to repair Gregory Distributions fleet
and other large vehicles.
? Learning how to remove and replace components and carry out bench work.
? To understand all health and safety requirements.
? College course to be discussed at interview.
