Job description for traineeship – Operations & Event assistant (based at Ponds Forge)

• Working within the operations and events team to deliver the daily program creating a clear focused customer experience.

• Support the leisure assistants in setting up/down all equipment to assist in delivery of the program.

• Assist the domestic’s assistant’s team in spot checking and reporting any issue with cleaning throughout the facility.

• Assist the domestics team in cleaning the venue to the agreed standard to ensure customer satisfaction.

• To assist the duty managers in planning the day’s work roster to assist in delivery of the daily operations and events program

• To follow all health and safety guidelines as instructed by the duty manager to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues.

• To assist the programme development supervisor in delivering the learn to program by checking equipment and reporting any damage or shortfall.

Your time will be split between a work placement with Sheffield City Trust, and studying either online or in one of PeoplePlus’ many adult learning centres.

We will provide you with all the support you need to complete either your level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service, including mentoring and comprehensive on-the-job training.

It offers the perfect mix of real work experience and developing yourself by gaining a new qualification.
